Chico St. vs. Fog - March 29

On Saturday, March 29, the Fog Women hosted the Chico State women’s squad in a friendly scrimmage on Treasure Island. In a match that featured four Fog players brand-new to the hooligan sport of rugby, the Fog Women held their own against a formidable Chico side, converted well in their line-outs and scrums, and as head coach Kevin “BMK” Sullivan stated, the Fog Women “learned that they are very dangerous out wide.” Not to mention an excellent time was had by all at the reverent third half.

The full match report by our head coach be found in our Lady Fog Rugby blog.

Fog vs. Petaluma - March 29

On Saturday, March 29, the Fog Men traveled an hour north to square off against the Petaluma Leghorns. Finishing up the NCRFU Season, the Fog Men completed their rite-of-passage within one of the toughest rugby divisions in all of America.

As the NCRFU Season closes and the Mark Kendall Bingham Rugby Tournament opens, the Fog finds itself more capable than ever imagined. As for the rest of Saturday, both the Fog and Leghorns celebrated their efforts for the match and season in a riveting third half.

Marin vs. Fog - March 15

The Fog Men played its fifth match of the 2008 NCRFU Season against longtime-rivals the Marin Reds. The Fog fought with conviction and passion for all 80 minutes, rallying from behind with two quick tries and tasting victory only a few feet away, in what may have been the Fog Men’s best effort of the season thus far.

SFSU vs. Fog - March 15

The illustrious Fog B-Side celebrated a glorious day of rugby as victors of a hard-fought contest against the evenly-matched SFSU Gators collegiate rugby club, scoring four tries to the Gators’ two. The game was a testament to how far the Fog B-Side has come, and how much farther they can go.
