Fog Women will be leading a session w/ GRRRL Camp this summer from July 16th-20th for girls ages 6-12!
GRRRL is a nonprofit organization that empowers girls to realize their full potential through sports, dance, self-defense, health education, and social justice education.
The camp facilitates the creation of a network of powerful girls who are self-confident and support each other. Participants inspire each other to fight beauty standards, attitudes, and assumptions that are taught by the media. GRRRL focuses on middle school girls to provide them with the tools to make healthy choices and to be self-confident on the field, in school, and in the workplace.
Each afternoon (1-4pm) will consist of a sport/activity and workshop. In an exciting and rare collaboration, girls (6-12 years old) will experience the basics in CrossFit, Soccer, Self-Defense, Modern Dance, and Rugby! They will also learn about the history of women in sports, body image, leadership and more! Join us for a fun week at Eureka Valley Rec Center!
