The Fog Men head to San Bruno this Saturday, April 10, to square off against the San Bruno Saints in the first round of Northern California Rugby Football Union (NCRFU) Division III playoffs. If the Fog beats the Saints, they will advance to the next round and play against the league’s top-seeded Marin REDS.

Saturday’s match will take place at Hillsdale High School, 3115 Del Monte Street, San Mateo (directions posted below). Kickoff is at 11am.

The Fog Women will host the South Bay Sequoias in a friendly match this Saturday, April 3, on Treasure Island. The game will take place on the Fog Rugby Pitch and will begin at 1pm.

For the first time in Fog Rugby history, the team has earned a spot in the Northern California Rugby Football Union (NCRFU) Division III playoffs. After beating Humboldt Old Growth 39-12 in the last match of regular season (Saturday, March 27), the Fog Men finished in fifth place behind Marin, Redwood, Berkeley, and San Bruno.

Playoffs begin on April 10, location TBD.

The Fog Men face Humboldt Old Growth on Treasure Island this Saturday, March 27, in their last league match of the 2010 season. The men’s A-side game, scheduled for 3pm, is one of several rugby matches taking place at the Fog Rugby pitch that day.

The schedule is as follows:

10:30am: Fog Women vs. UC Berkeley
12pm: SFSU vs UOP
1:30pm: Berkeley A vs Shasta
3pm: Fog Men’s A side vs Humboldt Old Growth
4:30pm: B side match for all who wish to play

The Fog Men’s A side travels to the East Bay this Saturday, March 20, to face the Diablo Gaels Division III side. The match is scheduled for 4:30pm at 321 Golf Club Rd, Pleasant Hill, CA. Directions to the pitch are posted below.

The Fog Men’s A side travels down the peninsula this Saturday, March 13, to face the East Palo Alto Division III side. The match is scheduled for 11:30am at 1300 Bay Rd (at Oakwood Dr), East Palo Alto, CA. Directions to the pitch are posted below.

Later in the day, the Fog B side will play SFSU at the Fog Rugby pitch on Treasure Island. Kickoff is at 2pm.
