The San Francisco Fog RFC is part of the Outsports Local Groups Challenge to determine the Gay Sports Group of the Year for 2008. The Fog is currently in the second round and faces off against the New York Cheer.

The men of Fog Rugby achieved a 37-17 win over Redding’s Shasta Highlanders RFC on Saturday, March 7, marking the Fog’s third win of the 2009 NCRFU season.
In addition to the win, the Fog earned a bonus point in the NCRFU standings due to the margin of victory.
