UN-Reno vs. Fog - November 10

The Fog Men’s side contested against a far-from-home University of Nevada at Reno team in its second friendly match of the 2007-08 pre-season. The sides matched up evenly throughout the game, scoring two converted tries apiece. Despite several last-minute chances to pull ahead from both teams, the final score remained 14-14.

Shortly afterwards, the Fog B-Side squared off against the same UN-Reno team for its first friendly since the summer break. The B-Side fielded numerous newcomers in this fixture and played with remarkable coherency and lots of heart, winning the match in spirit and brotherhood regardless of the final point count.

Rugby 101 Clinic - October 20, 2007

Come out this Saturday, October 20th, to learn the game described by some as a hooligan sport played by gentlemen. The SF Fog Rugby Football Club provides an excellent opportunity for newcomers to learn this amazing game and find out more about one of the most unique sports clubs in the Bay Area. At the end of the clinic, you will get the chance to apply your newfound knowledge of rucks, mauls, scrums, tries and line outs in a friendly scrimmage.

Make sure to get to the clinic by 10am to give yourself some time to suit up and meet our players. The Rugby 101 Clinic will be from 11am to 1pm at Treasure Island on the corner of Avenue H & 9th Street.
